it's -27C outside

The coldest weather I remember experiencing in my entire life was -17C during a visit in Sweden. It was beautiful sunshine at the time. As long as it's dry at the same time the cold can be dealt with.

Same for me. I'm used to cold temperature but not the humidity... Montreal at winter time is worst than here and the temperature is higher than here, but the humidity level attack the bones when we aren't use to it.

Halo2

The coldest weather I experienced was in Michigan on Lake Huron. It was -40F (-38C) without wind chill. We had to work with a buddy system. It doesn't get that cold here in the Seattle area, but with wind and the high humidity, it can seem almost as cold.

Andrew is always annoying even as a watcher.... not someone from Buffy I was wishing to see again in Angel ::)

Tom

I liked Andrew on Buffy. He was the most fun of the three (Andrew, Jonathan, Warren).

He is a whiner and my favorite character in the show died while fighting with him, so I can't like him. I prefer Jonathan way more, at least he is there from the beginning and there is a good episode about him.

BTW I just watched the puppet episode and it was a lot of fun ;D

Dragonfire

Ahhh...her.  Ok.  I kind of remember that now.  It's been a while since I watched those episodes.

I think another development will be coming that I really didn't like at all.

Jimmy

I'm almost at the end and I wouldn't say I don't like what happen, but Joss Whedon had an habit to kill character we care about :(
First Cordelia, after Fred (kind of) and I'm woried about Wesley because he really seems to be on a downward slope (he see thing completly on the black side, no more white or grey anymore).

Gunn I couldn't care less he got what he deserve.

That suck the show end with a non-ending :(

I hate that when that happen... and the real apocalypse fight was ready to start...

Suck too that Wesley die for nothing as his sacrifice was for nothing since it's Illyria who killed Cyvus Vail :(

I will never get the confirmation that Spike was the real choosen one and not Angel... It's because Spike fought to regain his soul it wasn't force on him.

But except for the end let down it was another good show  ;D
Now I watch Dollhouse because I need to do the profiles and I'll resume Buffy after it'll be done.

My favorites characters in the show

1. Alexis Denisof (Wesley)
2. David Boreanaz (Angel)
3. Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia)
4. James Marsters (Spike)
5. Stephanie Romanov (Lilah)

Cool... I hope you enjoy Dollhouse as well! I know I enjoyed it!

On Angel...
Yeah and what bugs me the most on the way the series ended... it was planned to do that to the fans! How can they think that was a satisfying ending?
And... Cordelia sure did change from the way she was in Buffy season 1... didn't she? She was one of my favorites on Angel as well.

Yes she did, but in a certain way that show is all about redemption and atonement. Almost all the characters are in LA to redeem themselves of their past life. Angel, Cordelia, Wesley, Lorne, Gunn, Darla, Harmony (?), Spike (even if that was done in Buffy), Doyle and Faith are all there for a new start with a clean slate.

DJ Doena

It was not planned to end Angel this way.

Buffy had ended the year before and Angel did fairly well. But then five episodes before the end they told Joss that Angel would be cancelled. Hence the sudden introduction of the Circle of the Black Thorne and the vary abrupt ending.

But to be honest it's kind of obvious the network wasn't that interested in the show anymore and it was in its last miles. The budget cut are evident: almost all the episodes are inside the Wolfram & Hart building, Charisma Carpenter isn't back for a question of salary, no recognizable song anymore (that look insignifiant, but music rights are costly) and some of the regular like Andy Hallett become glorified extras.

Notice that I don't say that I don't like the last season, I say that it wasn't a surprise for the producers to see the show cancel and it could have been ended properly.

Dragonfire

It sucks that there wasn't more...proper closure for the show.
I absolutely hated what happened with Fred.  She got away from Gun - something about that relationship never worked for me - and Wesley finally got up the nerve to act on his feelings..then that happened.  Ticked me off to no end.  I still haven't seen all of the last episode.  I just had a bad feeling about Wesley..then I saw enough to know that he died and that ticked me off more.  Grrrrrr.
There are also other things I didn't care for that I was thinking you hadn't seen yet - I've been working too many hours to think straight... :rofl  And I guess I lost track of exactly when a few of them happened.
Cordelia becoming a higher being..then she's back and doesn't remember stuff...and she sleeps with Connor and gets pregnant??  What the hell.  I didn't like that at all.
I did like Spike and I was glad when he turned up.  Yes he wasn't exactly a nice friendly vampire either..but like you said, he chose to get his soul back..he chose to be different.  And at the end of Buffy, he basically scarified himself.  Which annoyed me at that time.  lol

Sorry to have divulge the faith of Wesley, Marie :(

But watch the last episode, even if it is sad the moment is touching and resolve the Wesley / Fred story.
