I know! I don't watch enough local television, and it's a shame. I know there are some awesome stuff produced here, but the DVD of those are so prohibitively expensive, and I will not watch them full of ads.

I have a few series I love: Fortier, Grande Ourse, Les Invincibles, even Lexx (not Quebec, but Canadian at least) would all be in a top ten, but top 5?

Yeah it's the curse of being a small market and it's not better for the movie... I can't stand pub in movie, but I tolerate them in a TV show (at least they don't cut the presentation for them).

Dragonfire

Crap...I forgot Doctor Who.

Hmmm...well.  I don't know now.
Ok..wait..yes I do.  I'll just have 6.   :P  Untill I think of something else to tack on.

I've done that with some favorite movie lists at Epinions...supposed to be limited to 10 for a year, but I've rarely managed that.  My ones for computer animated movies and superhero movies are over too.

Jimmy

Totally irrelevent but as we talk of TV serie

I've finally completed the profiles for the nine seasons of The X-Files tonight :yahoo:

Just need to do the only season of The Lone Gunmen and everything X-Files related will be done. This is sure a long task to have that much season profiles well done to link with everything in our database....

I generally prefer my TV to be easily consumable...

That means you enjoy the trend of flatscreen TVs? I imagine it's much easer to find a starting point for your nibbles than with the old cubic tube TVs.  :tease:

:hysterical:

This is hard..there have been so many that I like.

Hmmm.
I'll go with these...

Firefly
Buffy
Castle
Dick Van Dyke Show
Futurama

I'm glad to see that i am not the only one that really enjoy 'Castle'!
If it is the ABC show about Rick and Kate that is! :)
And i've heard both good and bad things about FireFly. Maby that is something to check out.

And yes the Castle I put in my list is the one on ABC with Rick and Kate.  Great show. :)

Firefly is wonderful.  You really should check it out.

That reminds me.  I saw on Facebook last night I think it was..an Epinions friend started to watch Firefly after another friend talked him into it..he's loving it and already planning to watch Serenity after he finishes all the Firefly episodes.

I really like Castle, it's just not my "favourite show of all time".

Firefly is unfortunately short but defintely worth checking out.

Dragonfire

Firefly is definitely worth checking out.  It is way to short, but definitely worth checking out.

Kung Fu! I loved this show when it originally aired and thought it stood the test of time when I saw it again 40 years <yikes!> later.

Castle is a great show .. good characters and acting.  Dick Van Dyke Show should be on any list as it was a trailblazer for a lot of bits to be in other shows following.

Firefly is a must .. It was just getting to its stride (13 episodes) when FOX (the lameasses of the universe) cancelled it.  More interesting shows get cancelled at that point.

Thank you
David

I've heard it was loved by many. And a very popular show. So wonder why
