Director Bryan Singer has confirmed that Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult have all signed on!

Synopsis:
QuoteThe storyline alternates between present day, in which the X-Men fight Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and a future timeline caused by the X-Men's failure to prevent the Brotherhood from assassinating Senator Robert Kelly. In this future universe, Sentinels rule the United States, and mutants live in internment camps. The present-day X-Men are forewarned of the possible future by a future version of their teammate Kitty Pryde, whose mind traveled back in time and possessed her younger self to warn the X-Men.

Release date is July 18th 2014.

Never go to bed mad. Sleep on the couch instead.

There are a few broken branches in every family tree.

Dragonfire

I'll be seeing this one...Brett Ratner made a mess of the third one.  This one has all sorts of potential.

Proof that Bryan Singer > Brett Ratner

I liked the third movie ok, but I loved the first two.

I managed to enjoy the third one..but it was nowhere near as good as it could have been or should have been.  Too much was crammed in.  After all the setup they did for the Phoenix story, it was just...well....bungled in a massive way.

I did have concerns when I heard that Ratner was going to direct it.  Seeing the movie proved the concerns were justified.

I'm a little disappointed now.

I loved First Class and thought that it was everthing that the other Xmen films failed to be.
But now that Bryan Singer is back in the directors chair, I'm concerned that this is going to be well, shit in comparrison. MAtthew Vaughn did a great job and should be brought back.

I'm not saying that Bryan Singer only makes crap as that is blatantly not true, just watch Apt Pupil and The Ususal Suspects.

Anna Paquin, Elllen Page and Shawn Ashmore are all signed up now. Bryan Singer announced it on Twitter.

So that's Rogue, Kitty Pryde and Iceman reprising their roles then.

Also Nicholas Hoult who played Hank McCoy / Beast.

Just saw him in Warm Bodies and thought he was brilliant.
Thank you
