Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark (2012)

The third movie in Asylum's franshise has been announced. The Asylum's Paul Bales:

The fan response to the MEGA SHARK franchise has been rabid. In addition to a very persuasive on-line petition, we found that Mega Shark has taken on a life of her own. We’ve received photos of Mega Shark cakes, toys and games on a near-daily basis, and we thought it was high time she did battle with an iconic Mecha monster.

I still haven't seen either of the other two Mega Shark films but have seen other Asylum creature features. Looks like they have found a good market where they can put out low budget films and turn over a few million. Snakes on a Train anyone?

So far I've managed to convince myself not to watch anything beyond a trailer from The Asylum. I even have resisted (so far) Sharktopus. But a mecha shark! I am at my weakest.

Sharktopus is apparently one of their stronger films which, frankly, isn't saying much.
