I'm almost ashamed to admit it but... Melrose Place wasn't too bad in the first couple of seasons :-[

I think you would enjoy "Vampire Diaries".
Other TV series I can recommend, though I am not sure if they are your taste: "Arrested Development", "Larry Sanders Show" and "Sledge Hammer"

Thanks! :)

I just got in season 3 of Heroes. I liked this show when it originally aired... but I never seen past season 2 (maybe a little of season 3). Now that I am this close to owning the entire series (1 season left to get) I been thinking about doing a marathon viewing of the series.

I haven't watched any Heroes on DVD yet.

Band of Brothers
+1

And if "V" is the original series and not the unmentionable remake, this would be my next recommendation.

Yes... V is the original series.

One Step Beyond is comparable to The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits.

Avoid Clerks. As a massive Smith fan I was massively disappointed with this. Da Ali G Show is great, but unless you like UK humour you won't enjoy it IMO. I watched Melrose Place: S1 last year, held up quite well. Surface is definately your type of thing IMO but annoyingly has no proper ending. Haven't seen/can't remember enough about the rest.

Band of Brothers still wins out though.

Thanks... After watching the movie Clerks recently I was hoping for a fun series. Oh well. I will still give it a chance eventually... just won't expect much of anything from it.

I throw my Nod in to Band of Brothers... FIRST RATE....

As a western fan, I can heartily recommend The Rifleman.  It's excellent.  I also like Buffalo Bill Jr. Though it is definitely aimed at the younger crowd.   I was surprised not too long ago when watching an episode and I heard the same music I had heard on The Adventures of Superman.

Dragonfire

I liked V..I need to watch my copy of that too.
