We had quite a lot of them this year, starting with 01/01/11, 01/10/11, 01/11/11, 10/01/11, 10/10/11, 10/11/11, 11/01/11, 11/10/11 and now 11/11/11.

The next binary day is 01/01/00 - January 1st 2100.

Yeah I know, it's an IT thing.


(In normal life everyone uses the decimal system with digits 0 to 9. In IT two more systems are frequently used. The binary system, which only knows 0 and 1 (on and off) and the hexadecimal system which uses the values 0-9 and A-F [A being 10, F being 15]).

for example, todays date: November 11th 2011

decimal: 11/11/2011
binary: 1011/1011/11111011011
hexadecimal: B/B/7DB
