Too bad I don't have cash to waste right now... I would so buy many of them just to resell them when they will go in the vault with a nice profit

Achim

:headscratch: They haven't completed the series of Ultimate Editions yet...

Well, I placed my order for the UK Blu-ray set, which probably doesn't include the extended cuts (the first movies were slightly longer in Ultimate...?), but will serve me just fine.

While not really very good for the consumers, it is a good marketing model.

Not sure if this would work.
The release date of the final part will be  on the 2nd of December. That's when they'll all be back on sale again.
Within 3 days I don't expect too much consumption-pressure to build up.

29th December, not November.

Rule 1:
Read before answer

Rule 2:
Switch on brain while typing

Seems I forgot them both ...  :-[

EDIT: In fact, when I come to think of it, it's quite nice of Warner. This way I can sell my double dips (parts 1 - 7.1) for better prices.
Thanks for the idea, Jimmy.

Jimmy

Always happy to help ;D
Can I have some of the money for the idea :P

Dragonfire

Sheesh.  That's annoying.  Though I have them all except for the last one...and I'll get that...but the last two Ultimate Editions aren't even out yet....Grrrrrrr

I read (Blu-ray.com...?) that they are indeed pulling them in order to keep/create a customer base for an uber-edition next year.

I thought about that for a moment and did not cancel my order from amazon UK.

EDIT:
I read at The Digital Bits that the remainig Ultimate Editions will come, but apparently only after the hiatus.

Well I'm glad that the other Ultimate Editions will come..but this is irritating.
Though they did end up releasing the Ultimate Editions for 5th and 6th movies sooner than I was thinking they would..I was thinking this November for them..and then next year for 7 and 8.  Then they released 5 and 6 in June I think it was...so I did start to wonder if 7 and 8 would come out this November.
