I personally can't wait for this... they are Bringing Wonder Woman back to Live Action TV. Wonder Woman will be played by Adrianne Palicki.

They decided to change the Costume some... Here is of course the classic Lynda Carter Wonder Woman...

And here is Wonder Woman's look in the new series...

Personally I like how they redid the top of her outfit... but not so hot on the pants. I miss the shorts with the white stars Lynda Carter had. But I do think I like the boots better on the new Wonder Woman.

Thoughts?

I saw a photo or two of the new actress when she was announced as the lead...I thought she looked good then but don't care as much for this photo.  Maybe some women don't look good in tiaras?  I don't mind the absence of the star shorts...after all, it makes WW look rather all-American but WW isn't an American.  You can't really tell from one photo...we'll have to see how she looks moving around.  And I'm not crazy that the boots and pants are the same color.  I would've preferred they stay red.  But I can learn to live with it.  Somehow, though, I doubt this series will last as long as the original.  Now watch it fool me and outlast Lois & Clark...  :tease:

I can't see anyone but Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman - it doesn't feel right.

I personally don't think she is as cute as Lynda Carter... but I am willing to give her a chance.

Points taken on the costume Roger... though I kinda like the boots blending right in with the pants for some reason.

hmmmm.... not sure.... that is kind of a toss up for me. Not sure if I like the black pants. Though it does kinda help that the boots are red in that version.

It appears to be a [womanspeak] midnight blue [/womanspeak], not a black.

You boys don't really care what she wears. You just want her to tie you up with that rope and have her get naked.

Yes we do. Why do you think Pete wants her back in the hot pants rather than the full legs?

I'm wondering now if this is a firm go yet for a series or is it still just in the pilot stage?  As in it might not even get on the schedule?  If it airs, I'll try to watch it (as Wonder Woman is from DC Comics, my favorite comics company even though I no longer read their comics)...so I just hope it doesn't air opposite another favorite show like Big Bang Theory or How I Met Your Mother?  I shouldn't be saying this...NBC might get ideas...  :bag:

So now TV like movies can't come with original idea? Not that I'm that surprise since the are countless copies of CSI actually on the air. Glad our TV shows are more original than that...

BTW the girl really had no effect on me, her visage look way too plastic and un-natural for my taste. Wich is funny since I usually like woman with long hair but I can't pass the "too much makup" visage...

Dragonfire

I liked Wonder Woman..I'll try the new one.
I'm not sure what I think of the new outfit..and that actress.. Something just doesn't look right about her as Wonder Woman.  Maybe she's a bit too thin to be believable as a woman as powerful as Wonder Woman.  I'm not sure what it is.
Anyway, I'll still try the show when it airs..if it gets made.  I just hope it doesn't suck.  I've been hoping for a good Wonder Woman movie for years.  I about gave up hope when Joss Whedon left the project.  I thought he could have done well with it..he's good at writing strong woman characters.

NBC is saying this series won't be camp so hope springs eternal.   :tv:

Oh I hope..now if it just won't end up against something else I watch.
