Awsome Amazing, got the boxset a few days ago and i love it. it is been compared to band of brothers like a second part but i think if you forget about BOB and watch this for what it is it will blow you away anyone else seen it???

I downloaded each episode as it aired in the US, it was amazing! But I was disappointed that there was no focus on the many navel battles that took place during that time, such as the Kamikaze for example.
I'm getting the Collectors Tin on Bu-ray for Christmas.

Yeah the episode i just watched the us marines are in Australia getting a break from the war.

Ah yes I do remember it now. I heard about it while it was filming. Some of it was filmed at the You Yangs which is pretty close to where I live.

Glad you think so. I can actually see the You Yangs if I walk out onto my back balcony haha, that's how close they are. It's only a small mountain range but I like it there.
