Oh come on. Even in the popcorn category there has to be something more interesting on the horizon. Last year you started the thread with Kick-Ass and now this?

Hanna
Joe Wright hides the girl from Atonement in Finland and then lets her come out to play.

Matthias

Dr. Hasslein

I'm seeing The King's Speech on Saturday, looks really good.

I saw this trailer the other day. Could be good! Bit Bourne-ish.

In related news: Debra Granik (Winter's Bone) apparently plans to go to the root(?) of the recent girl hero trend by making a Pippi Longstocking movie.

For me there will always be only one Pippi Longstocking, and that is the one I saw on TV when I was a kid...

Dr. Hasslein

Did you know that Pippi Longstocking was a communist?

Just kidding, I started a thread at IMDB suggesting that very thing a number of years ago. It caused some a outrage.  :hysterical:

Dragonfire

I think I read a book or story with Pippi Longstocking when I was younger.  I don't remember if I saw a movie or not though.

That would have been a long time ago.

Nah, I'm just playing.
