Watched Yi Yi (a.k.a. Yi yi: A One and a Two...) today.

Wonderful movie, beautifully shot.

And now X-Men 2...  :P

Not sure if one should argue with you in your current state. *backing away slowly*
That was the reaction you're going for, right? To be honest, I barely remember the X-Men movies (1 & 2), but 5 stars? That's like giving "Citizen Kane" 2 stars. Oops.

Thing is, I love comics. I always have. And so I reviewed X-Men 2 from the perspective of that comic fan, while recognising the development, and in all likelihood, the beginning of the end for the comic movie genre, at least for Marvel characters anyway.

Dragonfire

I'm caught up for now with this..though I do still have to write about Vertigo for the Hitchcock Marathon.  I used that movie for the first alphabet marathon I did here, so I decided I wouldn't use it again.

I watched Donnie Darko (before Yi Yi actually) and still have some difficulties getting my head around it. I watched the Director's Cut and then yesterday with commentary switched on, which helped a great deal. Weird thing is, I am not sure I like the construct at the end so much (it's just too vague, somehow), but I sure enjoy how the story gets there! [mr]4[/mr]

Saw Everything you wanted to know about sex today. I'll say that it hasn't help up very well. The last bit, when we see what's going on inside the body during ejaculation, is still the most hilarious segment! [mr]3[/mr]

L done - The Last Legion, 14 to go.

I was expecting a review of Lagaan ;)
I was going to but decided that it was too hot and sticky here this afternoon thus I wanted something shorter and lighter so watched a film with Aishwarya Rai instead ;D

OK.  After a week off for a much needed vacation, I am continuing my marathon.

M watched and reviewed.

16 down and 11 to go.

Hope I can make it before the end of the month!   :-\

I'm well on course. Two more watched, yet to be reviewed and that leaves 6... and to think, when the marathons first started on here I always ignored thinking I'd be mad to attempt it.  :stars:
