Those of you who participated in the DCO Jeopardy challenge will remember that I said I was going to start a new game called King of the Hill. Here is the synopsis and rules of the game...

First, anyone is eligible to play. You can jump in any time.

Starting off the game, I will ask a trivia question, just to get the ball rolling.

Whoever gets it right will get one point. That person will then pick a film genre in which he or she wants the next question to be posed. The gist of the game is to pick a genre you think you are the most knowledgeable in, therefore allowing you the ability to continually answer questions correctly and control the genre selection process. As long as you are the first person to answer a question correctly, you will be the King of the Hill, and you get to select each successive genre question until someone knocks you off by answering correctly before you.

For every correct answer given, the person shall obtain one point. When one person reaches twenty five points they are the winner and the game is over.

There are no point deductions for giving a wrong answer.

All answers are to be posted in this thread. Post an answer as soon as you can, even if someone has posted ahead of you. I will accept the first correct answer I see.

Do not PM them to me.

Who's interested in playing? I will start the game tomorrow night at 7PM EST.

 I'm with you on this one Marie. If it's anything like the DCO challenge it will probably just prove to me even more how limited my knowledge is. Hell, it's still fun to play though ;D

Will it be ok if I take the control and choose the hardcore adult film genre?

Sounds like fun, even though I'm not too good with trivia....and if Jimmy gets control I'm in big trouble!

Achim

Ok, sign me up.

I am handicapped through time difference, but maybe I get at least to see the last question of the night, being the first one in the morning (then again, I am no longer the first one either, our Australian friends are :stars:)

But I would have to take the control wich is the hard part. I know very few things about the actual cinema or the classic films that Antares usually watch

I'm going to have to say no, hardcore adult won't be part of the game. To clarify it for everyone, the genre categories I will accept are same genres listed in DVDProfiler, minus the adult genre.

I'm sorry to discriminate against this category Jimmy, but it really wouldn't be fair to everyone else who is participating.

No problem I understand
But since I know some others cinema fields, I ain't out of the game

Don't worry Jimmy, I'll be asking a lot of drive-in and grindhouse film questions too.  ;)

Najemikon

I'm in.

One question, when Roger and I come close to winning it, are you going to delete it again?  :tease:
