The Lady Vanishes is good... so is Sabotage.  The Lodger is really good for a silent movie.  Secret Agent is ok...I remember liking The 39 Steps and Young and Innocent too.

Since I couldn't get the above at Walmart (they were out)... I went ahead and ordered it from Walmart.com (still only $5)... but I have another question about the movies in that set. I am hoping to watch some of these for the alphabet marathon. Is any of these early ones considered horror?

Another question for all you Hitchcock experts. I just noticed this morning that Vertigo is on one of the On-Demand channels. Is this safe for me to watch... or would I be cheating? In other words.. is that one considered horror?

If you haven't seen it before, Pete, there is no film more deserving to choose as the V entry. 

Just stick with it on a first viewing. It's essentially a film of two halves; Jimmy Stewart trying to solve a mystery, followed by Jimmy Stewart goes nuts. It's a powerful and rewarding film.

  You know Pete instead of watching it you could just listen to the song "Carlotta Valdez" By Harvey Danger to get an idea of the story

As I said in the other thread... I got my Hitchcock set today! 

I had separated the child profiles into manual profiles per movie... using the movie posters for cover art.  So one of the things I wanted to do when the set got here is double check the lengths since the case is usually off a little.

That is when I checked the time for The Farmer's Wife (1928)... the box says 96 minutes But when I turned it on... 2hrs 10min! more then half an hour's difference!
