Well... lets put it this way. For Father's Day I am going to tell Britt I want a Lobotomy to hopefully be able to forget I ever saw her!  :P

o.K. - my vote is:

Devdas.

Devdas

or:

Devdas - Flamme unserer Liebe

This recommendation comes from my wife! She also told me, that she needed a lot of tissues when watching the movie.  :o

Nope... I am really far behind when it comes to the classics. It's only been a few years since I given them even the slightest of chances, Yes I used to be one of those people that said... "eeewwwww! but it is in black and white!" But I have learned better. Just very far behind on them!

Thorsten I've never watch it also. Just like I've never watch Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, Singing in the Rain, Birth of a Nation, etc. This type of film isn't my cup of tea at all, trying to watch that bored me to death

If you haven't seen it...how do you know you don't like it?!? :tease:

Singing in the Rain is one of my favorites - it makes me feel happy when I watch it. You need to see it just to watch Cyd Charisse's legs dance!

Somehow I missed your review of The Thing Called Love but I backtracked this thread and found it.  I remember liking Samantha Mathis but haven't seen her in awhile.  Is she still acting?  I may try to catch this movie if it ever shows up on cable but I doubt I'll buy it unless I find it really cheap...like around $5 or less...

I know I can say I do not like Singing in the Rain without ever seeing it!  :tease:
