Kal Ho Naa Ho

Can't wait to hear your opinion on this. Also Taare Zameen Par is a good movie.
I hope you'll get Koi Mil Gaya soon.

Hopefully watching it over the weekend if not before. I started to watch the DVD I've got of TZP but had to stop before I got too far, but what I saw I liked and decided to upgrade to Blu as the e-tailer had it available along with the Blu of My Name is Khan. Play are still awaiting stock on Koi Mil Gaya but as I said before I'm not holding out on my hopes as nowhere else seems to have it, not even these new Bollywood e-tailers I've started to use.

Then it's good that it really is not really to have seen this movie to enjoy Krrish. It's a different kind of movie anyway. The first is a E.T. rip-off. Though a good one. And I enjoyed Hrithik Roshan's performance very much. Also Preity Zinta was good in it. Krrish on the other hand is a superhero movie. Often said to be India's first one. Although there was one in the Eighties called "Mr. India".

Today received

It's 'The Royal Rumble Complete Anthology Volume 3 1993-1997' Some people say Wrestling is rubbish because it's fake which is stupid cause wrestling is entertainment and i like to be entertained.

Najemikon

You ever seen The Wrestler, Kevin? It might be "fake", but what those guys do in the name of pretending is astonishing...

Kathy

I haven't watched wrestling since the late seventies, maybe early eighties, when I saw the likes of Andre the Giant and Rowdy Roddy Pipper.

Ah..those were the days. Buffalo held many live matches which were held in the old Aud, which is where the Buffalo Sabres used to play. Quite a few of these were "double headers" since they were being filmed.

What I remember the most was the wrestlers always used to meet the fans after the show was over. We would spend hours afterwords meeting these fabulous athletes.

I'll never forget putting my hand up against Andre the Giant's hand. Even with my fingers spread out my hand didn't even cover his palm.

I've met a lot of big pro football players and none of them could compare to how massive Andre was - it's hard to describe but 35 years later I still can remember being in awe.

Jimmy

When wrestling was popular in the eighties they came here often in my city. I've seen Jacques and Raymond Rougeau many time and many other like Ricky Martel, Abdullah the Butcher, The Road Warriors, a black guy wearing a lot of chains who was on four legs for his final move (I've forgot his name), Mad Dog Vachon, Joe Leduc, Dino Bravo,...

Of course it's fake but it was good entertaining contrary to now where this is all talk and talk and talk when I check a wrestling show on TV.

Dragonfire

I use to watch wrestling when I was younger.  Started when I stayed with my grandfather when grandma was sick.  He watched wrestling.  That was ...85 or so I think.  I watched for a few years before I got fed up with it.  But even at that point, it was still way better than what passes for wrestling now.

Cherrybomb

What prompted you to get that? I remember a favorable review on DVDTimes that got me slightly curious, but never enough to follow up on it.
I have recently the first Series of Misfits (Series 2 already ordered) and really liked Robert Sheehan in it. Thought I try another one, really as simple as that. I have seen the trailer beforehand, as to not order completely blind, and it seemed like it could be o.k.; it's one of those "weekend gone wrong" things...

Well, I have seen Cherrybomb now and was rather disappointed. It's not bad by all means, but doesn't amount to much. Misfits on the other hand is a very enjoyable surprise. Somebody could have told me earlier that it's nothing like that crappy Heroes.

Maybe that's why I am holding back to watch Cherrybomb  Well, maybe this weekend. Actually, "not bad, but not good either" is all I expect from it.

I have never seen Heroes, but the guys from (Cool) Shite on the Tube keep calling Misfits the show that Heroes should have been... My Series 2 set is in the mail

I got that version of The Wolfman last year... watched it for the start of my Halloween/Horror marathon. I enjoyed it. :)
