SHORT CIRCUIT!!! One of my favourite films of all time, I love the sequel to!

so many memories from my childhood, Ive always wanted a Johnny 5.... although im worried about the remake that is supposed to be coming out

They are remaking Short Circuit!?! Well remakes has surprised me before... but I must admit... I am worried as well.

Yeah I hear they are also changing the story to something like a misfit kid finding Johnny 5... It could work but... I don't know... :S

I am strongly considering making The Lady Vanishes the movie I watch for Letter "L"... would this be a good choice?

I agree with John...The Lady Vanishes would be a good choice.  Just be prepared for th fact that the picture quality, while not horrible, could be better.

I heard a little about another Short Circuit movie...I haven't heard about the story though. 
Hmm..well..not sure about the story being changed that much, though the stories do tend to get changed in remakes.

I loved the first Short Circuit but didn't bother going to the sequel.  I figured, "If Ally Sheedy isn't in it...I'm not seeing it!!!"

Roger I would recommend Short Circuit 2 purely for the final 15 or so minutes.

I remember the bits and pieces of Short Circuit. But I don't remember anything about Short Circuit 2. Though I am sure I seen it.

....the story of Short Circuit 2 without giving anything that you wont find out in the first 10 seconds of the film is set in a city where Benjamin is selling toy versions of Johnny 5 :p

For a long time, Short Circuit 2 had the best line of dialogue I had ever heard in a film...

[spoiler]A battered, hastily repaired, Johnny 5, punked up is chasing the villain along the docks... "No. Oscar. You will NOT get away. URGH! I am really pissed off!"   

Course the proceeding scenes are as tough today as they ever were as he gets the crap kicked out of him.  [/spoiler]

I just watched the trailer for Short Circuit 2... and do remember bits and pieces of it.

[spoiler]Though I must say... Johnny 5 saying he was upgraded with 500 mb of memory does date the movie a bit!  [/spoiler]

I personally think that short circuit is one of the few film
Series where both the original an the sequel are equally as good as each other
