I was fast enough to get the last copy of this one from Amazon before it goes OOP (the prices asked for it as usual are on the crazy side right now). It was on my wishlist for quite a while but the OOP tip made me act promptly ;D

:fingerchew: hope you like it

I was going to watch it last night with the extra hour, BST > GMT changeover, but settled down with Gantz the series instead, I'll have to set aside next Sunday afternoon for this. Gantz the film is slightly different to the series but I've only seen 12 of the episodes sofar, 6 last night and 6 this afternoon.

As an aside I've just found that Krrish is apparently available on Blu-ray link to e-tailer listing. I'm presuming it's an Indian release as there doesn't appear to be any rating details on the cover. I may well go for an upgrade on this.

I am a little tempted to double-dip with Krrish. But so far I manage to restrain myself.

By the way, did I recommend Lakshya to you yet? It's another one of those I have already watched multiple times. It's a war drama / romance movie with great music.

Weird! As with Potiche, you've bought one of the discs I have on preview. I was planning to watch it tomorrow. Oh, I shouldn't have said that because it would have been funny if we posted reviews at the same time again...  ;D

I don't like Saw but that set looks great. How many limited editions do you have now? It must be an awesome collection by now!

Yes you had but I didn't follow it up, it was the same time that you recommended Veer-Zaara and Ghajini. I will follow it up now though.

Assuming I complete my viewing of Gantz the series and nothing else arrives that I feel needs an early viewing I was going to settle down with this on Saturday night.

Stopped at Big Lots today... got a handful of $3 DVDs...

Van Helsing: The London Assignment
On the winding and fog-enshrouded streets of London, the sinister being known only as Mr. Hyde terrorizes the city in a haunting spree of mayhem and murder.  With the populace in a panic, the legendary monster hunter, Van Helsing, arrives in London on a mission to track down and capture the elusive Mr. Hyde.

Starring Hugh Jackman as the voice of Van Helsing, this original animated film will thrill you with cutting-edge visuals and non-stop action.  Experience a 'Van Helsing' adventure that takes place before the events of the blockbuster film!
White Noise 2
What would you do if you could tell who was about to die? Would you try to save innocent lives? After barely escaping a near-death experience, Abe Dale (Nathan Fillion, Serenity) discovers that he has been granted a mysterious ability. But using this dark gift means interfering with the natural order of life and death, a choice that comes with a heavy price. Also starring Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), White Noise 2 explores an unthinkable and evil dimension in communication with the dead.
Get Smart
Steve Carell is in CONTROL as Maxwell Smart, the novice agent often out of his depth but never out of options in this action comedy pitting him against the nuclear scheme of the evil spy group KAOS. Anne Hathaway partners with Max as ever-capable Agent 99. And director Peter Segal ('The Longest Yard') guides his stars (including Dwayne Johnson and Alan Arkin) through dangerous realm of molar radios, multifunction pocketknives, exploding dental floss and more. "'Get Smart' works as an action film and it's funny." (Richard Roaper, 'At the Movies with Ebert & Roeper').
Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control
Loved Get Smart? Get more! Get extra spy-spoof hilarity when Get Smart's bungling inventors Bruce (Masi Oka) and Lloyd (Nate Torrence) stumble into their own comedy adventure in a zany story paralleling Get Smart (and including surprise star cameos from that 2008 movie). The R&D smarties are out of the lab and way out of their comfort zones as they scramble to find a nifty new invention they've somehow lost - an invisibility cloak - before KAOS does. Of course, the whole invisibility thing really complicates matters. And learning on the fly how to be a spy is a big-time challenge for our heroes. 'Would you believe' you'll have to watch to discover how they do it?
Face/Off
FBI agent Sean Archer (John Travolta) knows how to stop elusive terrorist Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage). He'll become him. Archer undergoes a futuristic surgery and has Troy's face mapped onto his, then infiltrates the terrorist's world to discover his deadly secrets. But as much as Archer looks and acts like Troy, he doesn't really know him. He never figures Troy will retaliate and force doctors to transform him into Archer. Now the agent faces a shattering nightmare: his archrival is living with his family.

The Travolta/Cage star-power comes on strong and so does the excitement in this roaring thrill machine of a movie directed by John Woo (Broken Arrow). So buckle up. It's going to be a furious fight.
Yes Man
Carl Allen has stumbled across a way to shake free of post-divorce blues and a dead-end job: embrace life and say yes to everything. Take a bungee plunge? Yes. Accept call-now TV offers? Yes. Learn Korean? Yes. Grab the first flight to anywhere? Yes. Win your dream girl? Yes. Crack up fans with a feel-good, laugh-loaded romp? Yes! Working every funny bone in his nimble body and every muscle in his hilariously mobile face, Jim Carrey plays Carl in aYEScapade about opening up to life's possibilities – especially when those possibilities include romance with an intriguing, free-spirited musician (Zooey Deschanel). From the director of Bring It On and The Break-Up comes an invitation to discover the comedy power of yes.

The only one here that I can at least remember seeing before is Face/Off... and that has been so long I really don't remember it. Hope it is as good as I remember it being. My copy is different then the one above... but the one I have isn't in the database yet.

I heard that Get Smart sucked... but I figured that for $3 I would give it a chance. I don't even remember hearing of Get Smart's Bruce and Lloyd Out of Control ... do I want to watch one of the movies before the other?

Unfortunately I got home to find out I got the Full Screen version of White Noise 2. I already had it opened by the time I noticed... so oh well. :P
