Talking of number I just realized that I haven't watch a single XXX movies in 21 days :o

Good to have you back Jimmy!

And while you're there.. do you think there's even a remote chance Shout might release the whole Corman set as a single boxset? Cause I've been wanting to buy them.. but I'm a bit "scared" they might come out with a boxset that includes them all in a nice box ;)

Jimmy

That would be surprising, since most of the fans buy everyone of them as they are released (a boxset would be a waste of money for them and that would be very costly to buy, since they have at least 50 movies to release in the collection). By exemple they don't release all the MST3000 set in a complete boxset.

BTW did you got an answer from Michael at the adress I gave to you?

I was missing you too much so I'm back (at least for a while, since I will be gone again in a week or 2).
Missed you too! Nice to have you back before your summer vacation.

It was sent to me by Kathy. Haven't watch it yet, since it's the kind of films I need to be in the right mood for to really appreciate them.

But Come Play With Me is already watched and god I like your comedy from the seventies ;D

I've already pre-ordered The Playbirds who will be released somewhere in august ;D

The qualities of the Odeon Entertainment releases are amazing

This was one of the films that Jimmy wasn't sure he would buy. But, he did say he would watch it if someone gave it to him so... ;) I had a copy a friend gave me and I just upgraded to the 2 disc version. And, everyone has to watch this at least once.

I will be interested in what you think of it Jimmy. Me? I've watched it dozens of times and it touches me each time - not many films do that.

Galaxy of Terror
In the distant future, the crew of the starship Quest is dispatched to the barren planet of Morganthus to search of the missing crew members of the starship Remus, which has crash-landed there. Instead, they encounter something far more mysterious and insidious, as the crew members fall victim to their worst fears - each one more horrifying than the last. If any of them are survive the Galaxy of Terror, they must unlock the secrets of this deadly world.

Kelly's Heroes / Where Eagles Dare
'Where Eagles Dare' - The mission is clear. Get in. Get the general. Get out. Commandos charged with freeing a U.S. general from an Alpine fortress should also be told to trust nothing - including the search-and-rescue orders just issued.

'Kelly's Heroes' - They were goldbricks until they found out about the gold bricks - a fortune in Nazi- confiscated bullion! Clint Eastwood reups with the director of Where Eagles Dare for this alternately action- filled and tongue-in-cheek tale of GIs who decide to get something extra out of the war.
