With the two Bollywood movies I watched recently, it seemed to me to be an untapped source of good romantic movies with beautiful girls. To see if I am correct in this assumption, I ordered some critically acclaimed movies which looked like something I might enjoy:

Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (€6.95 at Amazon.de)
This one won a lot of Filmfare (Indian oscar) awards in 2002. It also has Hrithik Roshan in it, who starred in the other two Bollywood movies I watched so far.
Veer-Zaara (€6.95 at Amazon.de)
This one was nominated for quite a few Filmfare awards in 2005 and won a few. It stars Preity Zinta, who played the love interest in "Koi... mil gaya".
Kal Ho Naa Ho (€6.95 at Amazon.de)
This movie seems to be one of the reasons, that Bollywood movies got popular in Germany. This one again stars Preity Zinta. This movie won a handful of Filmfare awards.

It's a Shakespeare text and since I don't own many intellectual films in my collection, it will surely make my brain works. ;D

Fun (1994)
R0-US Spectrum Films (2002)

I paid a somewhat ridiculous amount of money for this, because it's an OOP title.

I'm sure that you will appreciate it more than me, but like I've said previously it's a good one to watch if you must sleep and you can't

Is it count as horror in your book? I would like to know your impression about this longer cut (even if I don't like it)

addicted2dvd

No... I don't think I would consider it as horror. More adventure... maybe a bit of Fantasy. What does everyone else here think?
Pete

Achim

The original may be considered horror (for it's time, especially), but I would also say the new one is clearly Adventure.

Najemikon

Definitely fantasy. While some might lump it in with Jurassic Park, I would call that borderline Horror, but because this is a story frequently from the "monster" perspective, it diffuses any such elements...

richierich

DEFINATELY ADVENTURE   (In Skip capitals so MUST be correct)    :tease:

 Thanks everyone.... it is pretty much what I thought too... but didn't want to goof up!  :P

I guess the real question is if you received that on October 1st would you watch it and count it as part of your marathon?  (I think you just might  )
