In Darby O'Gill and the Little People, Darby captures the King of the Leprechauns, who grants Darby three wishes. Until Darby uses up his three wishes, he keeps the King in a burlap sack, slung over his shoulder. At a local pub, Darby regales his friends with his account of capturing the King. Suddenly, as Darby is making his way out of the pub, he drops the bag and instead of the King, something else comes scampering out onto the pub floor. What was it?

Rogmeister

#50
It was still the king...but in the guise of a rabbit.  After all, we can't have just everybody seeing a bonafide leprachaun, can we?

If I am correct, I would choose Disney for $500 next...

Rogmeister is correct for 300 points

Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn have been companions for many years now and have made many films together. They originally met on the set of a Disney film they worked on, though their relationship would not come to fruition until many years later. What was the name of the film?

Rogmeister

I'm probably going to get this wrong but I only remember Goldie Hawn making one Disney film...and it was such a tiny part, her character didn't even have a name.  I think she played "Giggling Girl" or something like that...and I don't recall if Kurt Russell was even in that film...but I'll take a shot.  Was it...The One and Only Genuine Original Family Band?

If I'm right by some miracle, I'd pick Disney for 400 points which I believe finishes that category...

Antares

Rogmeister is correct for 500 points

In the remake of Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, Adam Sandler plays Longfellow Deeds, a modest and well-liked young man from New Hampshire. In the original film starring Gary Cooper, Longfellow Deeds made his living from writing greeting card and postcard verse. In the remake, Adam Sandler's occupation is very different. What was Deed's profession in Mr. Deeds?

Critter

He ran a Pizza restaurant.

If that's right then remake for 200.

Antares

Critter is correct for 400 points.
