According to Total Film, a sequel to the wedding has been spoken about including all of the original characters, it will disregard all of the DTD sequels.

I for one would be interested in this, as much as the wedding was a bit stupid, I did quite enjoy it and I got a few laughs!

Part 3 was probably the funniest, but the plot made little sense. They talked a lot afterwards about a baby theme, but judging how they plotted The Wedding (Jim and Michelle now playing straight or appearing awkward in what was essentially a series of Stifler sketches), I think that would be a bad idea. And since then we've had Knocked Up, so it would be seen as a Knock Off!

Wait another few years and I'd like to see an installment that catches up with them now with teenage kids. It would be funny to focus on the 'dults as they struggle to handle their kids being horny!

I've never seen an American Pie movie  Bag
No need to be ashamed Console

This is just 3 juvenile "comedy" full of piss and shit jokes. We, the Canadian, had already done it way better 28 years ago with Porky's Dancing

Oooh, controversial! Porky's is the lowest form of humour, but that's why it's so great. American Pie isn't as funny (or filthy), but has a much better stab at drama amongst all the gross-out humour. There's nothing as honest as the relationship between Jim and his Dad in Porky's or even Animal House. And Pie treats its female characters with just a hint of more respect than Porky's...

Eugene Levy is the only real positive for American Pie so we sure agree on this Thumb up !
and as a different level Tara Reid is the only other reason to watch that. She was so incredibly cute before her awfully done surgery and her premature aging due to her lifestyle.

Don't forget Porky's is set in the fifties wich explains the way the girls are treated. No gross-out humour is present in Porky's who is the unlucky quest of an high school student to loose his virginity (even the second part is fun). It's hard to be against the most successfull canadian movie ever made and one of the few who was a worldwide box-office success...

Just rewatch it for the first time in years and didn't change my oppinion at all... This is the greatest teenager movie ever made Thumb up !

It really make me laugh to see it rated 14+ here in the Province of Quebec when in most of the other country Porky's is rated R or 18 Devil

Nothing to do with American Pie, but since I was talking about Porky's. I just find the theme song of Porky's Revenge (the last part of the trilogy that was as good as the original) and since it was one of my favorite song of the eighties why not post it here...

Since the sound isn't that great, I add this one who isn't the video but the song with pictures of the 3 movies

Too bad I've only this movie in the crappy canadian set released by TVA films in 2006 since it's one of the worst dvd transfert I've ever seen Thumb down !

I've never bothered with it because I've yet to hear one single good thing about it. I think the fact you can get 1 & 2 in a boxset, but no sign of 3 speaks volumes...

The third one is in a set and it's the best one after the first... Porky is back and it use the same formula that made the success of the original.

Yawning I stopped watching American Pie after the band camp one.. the amount of sequels just got ridiculous. I would be interested in 4 with the original cast though, if the story was good enough!
