I am in one of those moods again... I haven't watched any dvds on my new TV yet because I just don't know what I am in the mood for other then the fact that I want a TV series. hmmmmmm....  :hmmmm:

I'd recommend Flash Forward.
It totally failed on TV because if you missed more then two episodes there was no chance you'd ever find your way back in.
It works great on DVD though.

Sounds like a series I will have to look into getting. Thanks for the recommendation. :)

I'll second it.

I think that one of the things that helped  it ot fail was the close on 6 month break half way through the first season.

Don't worry as it does tie up most of the loose ends but leaves enough hanging to make a second season an intriguing possibility. If nother network would pick it up.

Sadly this is not very likely  :'(
And even if it would happen, I seriously doubt that they would be able to resemble this awesome cast again.

The major point against Flash Forward in these reviews is the lack of realism ...
Yupp, agreed ... I always liked StarTrek, Supernatural, X-Files, etc for their realism, wouldn't want to miss this in just any other SciFi TV-Show

Once again... so many choices... so far behind on watching... and I just don't know what it is I am in the mood to watch!

Belatedly I'd third it, just finished watching the series and thoroughly enoyed it, although too many loose ends that cry out for a 2nd season

Read a book :tease:

How many hours a day are you watching DVDs?
I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!

You mean these analog paper things with written words and so?   :o

Blair

Yes, those things. Preferably the one without pictures.

(I'm one to talk. I've read only about 5 books in the past 10 years )

I'm constantly reading books. I read every single night when I go to bed, no matter how late that may be. At any one time I may have up to 5 books on the go and I just read whichever one I feel in the mood for that night.

Kathy

I read much more than I watch DVDs. I can't go a day without reading but often a week or more can go by and I haven't turned the TV on.
