Following on from Matthias' very good point that the 2009 thread is just about done, here's the new model! I couldn't wait. Sorry. You have to see this trailer. :yahoo:

I had low expectations of this, but now I'm stoked. Looks like The Kill Bill crowd might enjoy the filthy potty mouth and extreme violence of Kick Ass.

Warning: "Mature Audiences Only". They got that right!

Tom

Thanks for trailer :)

When I saw the poster at Den of Geek this week I got curious about this movie. Of what I have read so far, it looks like it is going to be a very fun movie. Definately one I will look out for.

Kick-Ass is the the first movie that comes to mind when thiniking of a must see in 2010!

Loved the first trailer I saw and this is only better, it's Kick-Ass!

snowcat

I can't wait for Kick-ass too XD

Id also like to see Cop-out and The Other Guys.... im sure there are other films I want to see...

That's something quite different from the writer/director team of Stardust. Could be great fun, though. Chloe Moretz definitely is adorable, but from what I gathered she isn't the main character?

Nope. That would be Dave Lizewski as the titular Kick-Ass. See here for an overview. He's the character in green that appears right near the end of that teaser.

That's a shame. But I suspected as much after being mislead by the teaser to search for the movie "Hit Girl" on IMDb. Seriously, who cares about the green guy after watching that? Then again, it worked in Stardust...

I forgot to mention, Iron man 2, Get me to the Gig, Grown Ups and .... uhh, Oh yeah XD Cats and Dogs 2 :-[

Oh, I think Hit-Girl will be one of many treats in this...  ;D

I think that trailer is brilliant. Does anyone read the comic? if not I recommend it.

As a matter of fact I got curious (I never heard of Kick-Ass before this week), and have pre-ordered this release. Is the correct one to buy?

snowcat

Yep thats the right one!

Interesting though, do you know the release date? the last issue of the comic is not due until February I believe.

It says first of March 2010. So I believe that not a specific date is set but it will probably be in March.

snowcat

That makes sense, I couldn't see it on there, musn't have been looking hard enough  :-[

I'm looking forward to the final Issue... its took them along time to release the series, I think it started in 2008.

"...and continuing our tour of upcoming movies in 2010, please look out the left window for Knight and Day"

Me again! Anyone heard about this? Action comedy with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Watching the trailer, I was a bit "meh", until about halfway through during the inspired bit on the bonnet, then the brilliant line Cruise comes out with while exiting the cafe. Sold.   Click here for trailer...

While I'm here, as a Nottingham lad, I'm duty-bound to make sure you see this. There is now a better trailer, but I can't find it on YouTube...
