Today is my daughter Brittany's 14th birthday! I couldn't do too much for her... but I did get her a watch and then a couple DVDs she has been wanting. Plus we are doing the normal cake, chips, ice cream & soda thing this evening.

Unfortunately I am a bit down today. First birthday celebration without my mother. But I am doing the best I can to keep a smile on my face and give Britt a Happy Birthday.

OMG... tell me about it. She came knocking at my door this morning... showing me what she was going to wear to school today. Nothing provocative mind you... but you could definitely tell she was not a little girl no more. Talk about scary... scared more today then any horror movie ever did to me!

I had to stop by the store today... pick up a couple more last minute items for tonight. And I ended up picking her up a couple more (cheap) gifts. 1 more DVD and a box of fruit candy.

I was also a little bad and picked up 2 more movies for myself. You will be able to see that in the What ya got thread soon.
