Preparation time for the 2009 November alphabet marathon.

Please only use this thread to keep overall track of how well you are doing (If you want to use same table format as mine, click on quote then copy the data, and amend with your films etc). Reviews/discussion/queries to be posted in the 2nd thread.

Personally, I will be using the opportunity to use the marathon to eat into my unwatched pile.

As a reminder, the aim will be to watch a title beginning with each letter of the alphabet. TV, movies, musicals, whatever! If you don't have a title beginning with a certain letter, be creative ie Q could be aQuamarine, or X could be the fiXer. Also can be used to catch up on Hitchcock and 007 marathons (Marie  Tease ), and to view tv episodes if time in the month is short  TV

No prizes for completion, if anyone wishes to join me on this marathon please feel free.  Cheers

List completed, but it's always possible that I change it if I get some new movie in november. I've choose to watch only unwatched movie this year and I will open my own reviews thread as usual.

I really wanted to join this marathon but I don't think I have successfully completed a marathon yet.  Embarrassed  I know I will not be able to do 26+ movies/TV shows in a month.  Bag

So, on that note I am going to join but I'm going to cheat (if that's OK). I am currently working for a contractor in Hawaii, which gave me an idea. My Alphabet Marathon will be based on the Hawaiian alphabet, which consists of only 12 letters.  Celebrate

I can even claim to be one of the "7's"! I'm two reviews behind. I have never kept up a pace like this! I think the trick is the amount of variety I've found amongst my unwatched stuff... Grin

I'm at seven and yes the variety help. Of course for some all my movies look the same genre, but it isn't the case since I've watched detective story, comedy, biography, drama, roughie and crap.

After Rich's post I already watched another one and am therefore down to 6 now. But I must be, because I will not be in Taiwan on the last two days of the month and therefore must finish quicker..

My unwatched pile provided for almost all letters and yes, also for me the variety was helpful. I just felt like I have more movies on that pile that have a runtime above 120min. My gaming time took a serious cut Laugh
