I was wondering if you guys would be up for a random photo thread. Basically just a thread where you can share any photos you want, eg (of you, your pets, entertainment systems or really just anything at all). Then we can just chat about the photo's and post new ones etc.

I'll start with a photo of me as I realised I have not posted one on this site yet. This is a photo of me shooting at my local archery range with one of the younger members of our club.

That's an interesting photo  Clap  Archery is one thing  Inever really considered taking up.  Hmmm, I wonder if I should post the photo I have of my arm following surgery?  It ain't pretty!  If you want to see it, I do have it up on my Facebook page.  Instead, I could post a photo of my cats including my recently deceased Shadow.

I love seeing photos and memorabilia of others but I don't keep any myself. I threw out almost everything on a cleaning binge - pictures, diplomas etc. out it went. I did buy a digital camera a while back but, after looking at the half inch instruction booklet, I packed it away and haven't looked at it since.

This is one of my favorite photos of my cat Shadow, a Maine Coon that was born on May 2, 2000.  His birthday was 5 days before mine.  Unfortunately, he passed away this year on August 17.

What a pretty cat.
I'll have to share some pictures of my cats.  I'll have to look up the links.

Here is a picture of me with my mother. We were on our way to see my daughter, Brittany sing in the choir.

And this is a picture of my mother that I always thought was fun. It is from this past Christmas. It is a brown robe hooded robe-type thing she got to help keep her warm in the hospital when she got her treatments. I forget now why she was wearing the mask but I had to laugh and tell she she looked like something out of Star Wars!  Laugh

I was going through some stuff today and came across an old high school picture of my wife, Dawn. It was always one of my favorite pictures of her. Unfortunately the picture got a little damaged in storing it... but I scanned it anyway. and tried to clean it up a little... just wasn't doing much good with it. But I think you can see why I was so nuts over her!

So what do you guys think... not bad?

What a nice picture Pete, she's beautiful. Now I want to see a high school picture of the boy she fell in love with!
