Hey everyone..
When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was turn on last night's episode of Bones. I enjoyed it. I think they meant it to be kinda like a Halloween episode... though not centered around Halloween. It involved an Egyptian mummy. And we also got to see clips of the 1932 Mummy in the background on a couple scenes while some of the characters watched it.

Yeah just watched it too. It was cool how Bones could basically dub the movie. :)

Yeah... it was cool... it was like a first sign of normalcy in that character!  :P

I missed it last night because I had to go to a work related class.  I'm going to watch it online, probably later tonight.  Along with Fringe.

 Now now Karsten... where have I ever claimed to be normal myself?  :tease:

Watched it last night.  I did like how Bones finally knew something about a movie..and how it sort of freaked everyone else out.
I did not care for her going out with Booth's boss as much though...or how she is still so clueless about some stuff..like she didn't get why he wasn't happy she shared that story about his mother's meatloaf.
Sometimes it doesn't make sense at all. For example: Emily was born Oct 11th 1976 (Happy belated birthday btw!) which makes her one year older than me. I don't know exactly but I assume her character is about the same age, but no older than 36. That makes her born between 1973 and 1976. That in turn means that she was 16 somewhere between 1989 and 1992 (when her parents were "killed"). Until that year she should have been a normal teenage girl but she's often shown ignorance even to events that happened in the 80s or early 90s.

That's true.  I hadn't thought about that much before.  Hmm..  And remember..she knows that one Cindi Lauper song, Girls Just Want to Have Fun.  So it doesn't seem like she was ...isolated from stuff by her parents before they died.  Unless she was supposed to be focused on school so much growing up that she just didn't pay much attention to most of that stuff.  I don't remember it ever being mentioned though.

I think some people grow up more than others and can easily forget things they did during their childhood because they have moved on. Add to this the fact that Bones is shown to be able to rationalise things far more than other people and I find it completely feasible...

My idea for a proper "King of the Lab" flag:
