A completely useless topic but I'm curious. Mine is the original uncut version of Das Boot which runs for 4:53 but I think it was a short TV Series originally in Germany so I would have to go with.

I've never really thought of this but I've never really sought out any particularly long films.  I do have a few that hit the 3-hour mark but not many.  Gone With The Wind is listed at 238 minutes, I think...that is 8 minutes shy of being 4 hours long.

I'm not sure how you find out the running time statistics. And, I'm not going to go through almost 5,000 DVDs to find out! But, I do own the LOTR trilogy so those probably among the longest.

I simply ordered the DVD Profiler list by runtime descending and ignored my series profiles.
