Can anyone offer an explanation as to why I don't see the top portion of the covers in phpdvdprofiler for blu-ray discs ?  In DVDP I see the blue band with the BR logo bu in phpdvdprofiler I don't.

Tom

Because in Profiler it is added to the picture by the program (it was a feature request in the early days of Profiler 3), and is not part of the actual scan. It can even be disabled in the Display options.

Ah..................thanks Tom.  I just looked at the images on my hard disc and they don't have the banners..............I was getting officially confused  :stars:

So if I want to see them in phpdvdprofiler I'll need to make my own scans and disable the banner in DVDP ?  I'm curious......how many pages of insults did it take over there before coming to that decision ?

About 37. It was more civil than usual...  :P

So people have to crop them to remove the banner before submitting BR and HDDVD covers ?

No, the BR banner is not part of the actual cover inlay, which you have to remove from the case for scanning anyway. So essentially it would be more difficult to scan the cover with the banner then it is without them.
But the banner is to be included if you are scanning a slip case cover where it is integrated in the cover. When "Slip Cover" is checked in Profiler, it won't therefore automatically add the banner to the cover.

Thanks for the info Tom.  I had not really paid attention to my Blu-Ray movies and didn't realize that the banner is on the case.

Actually, phpDVDProfiler will add the Blu-ray banner (and HD-DVD and combo also).

The [local]siteconfig.php variable $AddHDLogos must be set to true:

$AddHDLogos = true;

and the other conditions of the windows program must be met (HD-slim case, no slip, media-type of Blu-ray)

Thanks Fred (nice surprise to see you here). I was wondering how to "turn on" the banners myself...

EDIT:
Seems to work in the profile view only, but not the signature image...?

Thanks, all. Good to be here (finally!)

@Achim:The thumbnails fix is in 3.5.1.1 and you appear to be running 3.5.1.0, at least on your visible site ...

Sorry, I should keep up a bit more.

well, it looks like I have some coding to do to support the 3.6 features, so it'll be a little while before my next release is ready ...

Yes, it was a long list released by Ken.
but still no talk of profiler plus
