Still haven't seen it. Maybe I should get it just to lend Rich some support.

Speaking of best animated feature:
Has anyone of you checked out "Sita Sings the Blues" yet?

Does your daughter still read here? Maybe we can convince her to organize a musical marathon?  :tease:

 Every great once in a while she will read the site... but not too often. Which is why I always try to remember not to mention gifts to her here until after I give them to her now!  :P

But she is more into the comic book forums like Marvel and such.

I did download the film from the website...

I usually remember about it when I read the forum(s) (seeing your avatar) but then forget when I am home. One of these days I have to transfer it to my PS3 (file conversion may be needed) and then be able to watch it when the mood hits.

I have quickly looked at a few brief moments from the film and noticed the the animation style seems to change throughtout the film...?

Oh yeah... she is huge into comics. She is a regular poster at marvel comics and writes articles at comicbookboards.org so yeah... she likes her comics :P

Yes it is a mix of different styles. As there are multiple narratives. And '20s Jazz songs together with the Indian Ramayana. But it all makes sense, trust me.  :)
