I got my new laptop yesterday. I bought a HP Compaq from Office Depot for $399. The same model was $599 at Office Max. I also had a $50 coupon and they even included a $230 2 year protection plan for FREE! There was a special from Adelphia Cable, high speed internet including modem for $29 a month, so I will be online at home starting on Tuesday. I've been putting off buying a computer but the prices were so good...I finally did it!

I'm pretty happy, thanks everyone. I would have liked to buy an Apple computer but I need it to accept dvdp. As it is I'm having trouble getting everything set up :stars:. I only wish I lived close by to one of you computer experts in my time of need.

;D My niece and one of my best friends talked me into signing up. I think I've looked at it maybe twice since! :laugh: My internet just got hooked up...so here I am! Maybe I will play with Facebook a little more now that I have the internet at home.

I sent you a request to be friends.  You're the only DVDCOL member I don't have (I think) and I need to increase the female to male ratio in my friends list  ;D
