Damn shame. Ferris is still one of my absolute favourites and I can watch it any time. Much as I enjoy all the Smith and Apatow comedies, John Hughes always did it better. While it was obvious he was unlikely to ever return to filmmaking, there was always the possibility... :(

I was going to post that since I never miss a good chance to publicly display my gross lack of culture I will ask who's John Hughes but I got my answer  ;D
