I am in the middle of making up a DVD Care Package for him as well. Containing several movies I seldomly watched/disliked/or have multiple copies of.
Way to thank someone if you send him The Sorority and The Curse of Lizzie Borden
:hysterical:

Nope... I couldn't do that to him... he has been too good of a friend! Besides... he is not a fan of horror at all (aside from some of the classic stuff). So I am not sending him any horror at all.

Now if you had a DVD of the TV movie about Lizzie Borden that starred Elizabeth Montgomery...  :yahoo:

Jimmy

Not really the one you think

But this one

Of course there is no way to know for sure... as mail isn't due here for at least a few hours yet... But I have a funny feeling I may see the package Roger sent me today.

And I probably just jinxed myself.  :suicide:

You're welcome, Pete.  I hope you enjoy them.  I decided I just had too many serials to ever get through (and I had a big box to fill) so that's one reason I sent that many of those.  :)

addicted2dvd

I really appreciate it! :)

I was thinking that next weekend I may see how many full serials I can review within the weekend for my marathon.I know I wouldn't be able to do many as long as they are... but I now have several I want to watch!  ;D

Of course, now Pete has sent me a package...but unlike with what I send him and try to keep a few secrets, I pretty much know everything that's in it.  Most of the DVDs he's sending me are ones he has said he has no interest in seeing again.  The term "faint praise" comes to mind

 Hey Roger... don't mean that they are all that bad. Besides You may like them more then I did. One or 2 of them may even surprise people that I didn't care much for them... such as Blade Runner... I know that one has a huge following.

For the record... here is what I sent him...

- The 6th Day (not bad... but have had it for years and never felt like watching it again.)
- Alex & Emma (Now this one is BAD! [IMO]... but hopefully you will like it... if not... pass it along!)
- Badder Santa (This one I did not like... but seen many people did)
- Blade Runner (Huge cult following... never did much for me)
- King Kong (This one I like... but have an extended version now)
- Kingston High (Urban high school comedy... watched... ok. nothing special)
- Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (Spoof comedy that just didn't do it for me)
- Lotsa Luck: Vol. 1 (This is the first disc of a complete series set that was given to me)
- RV (Robin Williams... who I normally enjoy... but this one is ok... not great IMO)

I think that is about all of them... plus I returned a serial Roger sent to me that I already had.

Oh... and Roger... I would have sent you some surprises if I knew what you already had... you need an online listing!

And I did take pity on you... I almost sent over The Sorority! :tease:

It would have been the first movie with 3 "less than 0" reviews here if you had sent it Pete :weep:

And for me, and certainly only for me, King Kong isn't a lot better
But Blade Runner and The 6th days are certainly good

 Maybe so... but I may have also lost a friend in the process!  :P
