Not including the pile of dvds and blurays that I have yet to enter this week into DVD Profiler...

6689 DVDs and 127 blurays.

I don't use child profiles so 1 TV Season = 1. Movie boxsets I split up into individual profiles for each movie so a 3 movie boxset = 3.

Am just wondering. When do you people with big collections find time to watch them all. I only have over 300 and still don't have time to watch them all.

Dragonfire

I haven't watched all of mine yet, though I have seen most of the movies and tv shows before.  I try to watch at least one movie a day or some episodes from a tv show.

Jimmy

Everytime I can, but I've a lot of free time since I've quit my job. Of course my collection isn't that big (1890 movies or tv set), but most of my adult stuff aren't watch yet since it's for my blog and I can't watch them whenever I like too since I don't live alone (I don't really like to have people who don't get it watching them with me).

Kathy

You mean you're actually supposed to watch them?!? :o

I hope I'll find the time to watch all my DVD's latest when I'm retired! I have so much (increasingly) unwatched movies...  :-[

I can't help it and yes, I'm crazy!  :headscratch:

3,119 Profiles (each movie count as 1, TV seasons count as 1)
1,537 Blu-rays (211 SteelBooks)
362 HD DVDs (67 Combo HD DVD and DVD; 3 SteelBooks)
1,220 DVDs (decreasing steadily as I give away those DVDs that I replace with Blu-rays)

Of the Blu-rays and HD DVDs (1,902 total)
982 Watched
330 Never Watched in any format
590 Not watched in current format (those bought as replacement for DVDs or already seen in theater)

I "voted" in the 201-400 level. According to an Excel spreadsheet I keep I've got 382 Titles with a 643 disc count. I've got a few television series that range from 2 or 3 discs to 6 with 4 or 5 being the average and several 2 disc collector versions of titles.
Now according to my collection via the invelos (DVDProfiler) database I have 547 owned titles/discs (with 398 "Collection #s")

I haven't added a few titles to my Excel list but I don't think it would be more than a dozen or two from the last couple of months.

I've tried other DVD collection tracker programs and currently still have accounts at DVDAficionado and DVDCrate both seem to take forever for some titles to get added, even when you try to add them yourself. I keep them mostly as backups, and I used to like DVDAFs wishlist function (I haven't used it for a while so I'm not sure how up-to-date I am with it)

after the box full of DVDs I got today... I was able to climb up to the next level... 2001-2200!

I am currently in the same range :)
I have updated my vote now.

I have no clue how many DVD's I own.

I'm doing child profiles because it makes it much easier for me to keep track of the series episodes and set a watch status on disc level.

So far I have 5,339 profiles. About 80 of those are blu-rays!

addicted2dvd

After that big box of DVDs yesterday... I am now up to the next level... now at level... 2201 - 2400 with 2,231 releases in my collection (counting all boxsets and TV Season Sets as 1 each).
Pete

Dragonfire

I'll have to check and see how many profiles it says I have.  I have child profiles for tv shows on DVD and movie sets too.  I like being able to put it that I watch each movie in those sets or the discs for the tv shows.

addicted2dvd

Oh I have child profiles of them all... I just don't count them when I number my DVDs... I like it to match the number of releases that I have. :)
Pete

Dragonfire

It depends on what they are if I count them or not.  I don't the ones that are for tv shows.  If there is a set with like 3 movies in it, then I want each movie to count as one.  So the count matches the number of actual movies.  Least that is how I like it.

Looks like it is showing 2119 for me now..I still have a few new things to add.  I'll get to that later this evening I think.  That's how many profiles I have.  Movie count is at 1265.  I think.

I also have added in the movies my mom and step dad have...that's another 345 titles..and I have some more to add to that too.  So total profiles is like 2465 - after subtracting out the ones on my wish list.
