The Guiding Light Marathon

After 15,700 episodes and 72 years The Guiding Light has been cancelled.

If you set an average of 42 minutes per episode then it adds up to 659,000 minutes or 10,990 hours. If you watch 8 hours every day then you are done in 1,374 days or 3.76 years. :D

15,700 episodes, 4 episodes per disc, 6 discs per season, $30 per season makes 3,925 disc, 654 seasons, 19,620$ :D :D

When I've read the title in the post list I was sure that you will start a marathon of this...
No need to say that I was surprise by this choice of marathon :laugh:

Me too.  :lol

After how long the show has been on, I was a bit surprised to hear that it was getting canceled.  I remember watching it with my grandma over 20 years ago..that was the one and only soap she ever watched.
