I removed the "new server" note since the other one is down and now everybody should be here.

The bowing will commence shortly after the home page is updated  :tease:

Seriously, I know it's a minor thing but I use the home page a lot. I know October is Pete's favorite time of year but it's almost February!

Jimmy

We all wait after Jon, I'm sure that I've read that it was suppose to write an article for the homepage

Jon why not an analyse of the first Mario Bava boxset?  ;)
I really want to know your impressions since you have bought it because of me

 I was actually kinda wondering how long that was going to stay up there myself!

Not to mention my review of the God-Awful The Sorority is still up there... but I guess that could be seen as a public service!

You're right, I did say I had a couple of ideas and I will try and knock one out tomorrow. Rather a lot has happened since then...

:bag:

Oh yeah. Mario. That's a couple of weeks off, but I am dying to get into that set, honest!

Achim

It'll be October again sooner than we think :2cents:

If anyone has a good idea, spit it out. ;)

Is there a way to randomise our movie reviews to appear on the home page??

I wouldn't know how because they can't be distinguished from any other posting.

But from now on I try to copy all movie reviews we do in articles and then they will appear on the front page - unless someone does mind if his/her review is shown there.

Actually Karsten there is a way.  Check in the root of the site for the files membersreviews.php and updatemembersreviews.php.

updatemembersreviews.php is the program that updates the database for this. http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com/membersreviews.php

I did that a while ago and I don't remember the structures of the tables but it contains links to every review that has been indexed by Jimmy.
