Norbert Rosing's striking images of a wild polar bear playing with sled dogs in the wilds of Canada's Hudson Bay. The photographer was sure that he was going to see the end of his huskies when the polar bear materialized out of the blue. The Polar Bear returned every night that week to play with the dogs.

That is magnificent. Thank you, Kathy. Point for you!

I love it when nature defies expectations. Although if Mr. Polar Bear was hungry, maybe the pics wouldn't be quite so Disney PG...  ;)

Agree. Especially since Polar Bears are the fiercest killers in the animal kingdom ;)

Fun pics Kathy! Thanks.

Yes, these are amazing photos.

But look at the dog in the first photo, you can almost hear him think "Oh shit!" ;)

And I love the picture of the bear in the last one. He looks submitted. Guess the dog won the wrestling match!

Kathy

I can't believe the dogs weren't hurt - that's what makes these pictures so amazing to me. My favorite is the last one which is why I changed it to my avatar ;D

Kathy, I'm finding your avatar very off putting! I used one very similar at Invelos and now when I scan down the page I keep thinking your posts are mine!  :stars:

 I remember that avatar; he looks like he's having sooo much fun!
Once I get the hang of the digital camera I bought recently.  :-[ I'll change my avatar to my pets. Of course with 8 cats and 5 dogs no one will be able to figure out who I am since I'll have to change it so often!

I liked your panda one. Someone sent me the proceeding shots on an email "Ever seen a Panda Grow?". Have you seen those?

Kathy

I don't think so.
And because I don't want to confuse you... ;D
