I just read his postings from today and had the sudden urge to re-watch the episode where Clark lost his memory. Unfortunately I've lent the DVDs to someone who is running a marathon as well. Therefore I cannot watch it.

So I must urge you - addicted - to not to write anymore reviews so that I am not tempted to watch any of the episodes!

Yeah I loved that episode. One of my favorites of the five first season.

But I must protest against this protest. You shouldn't lend you DVD, especially those you want to watch!  :tease:

LOL... I must apologize... but I just finished reviewing the final disc of season 4... and I just can't stop now... so about to post it in the thread... and then RUSH to go pop in the first disc of Season 5!  :tv:

Besides.... I agree... what were you thinking loaning out your DVDs?   :slaphead: :stars:

Yeah I am one of the few who have no problem at all to lend my DVDs.

I apologize for this.

I am about to write about the sixth and last disc of the second season of B5.

No need to apologize for it. You are just much braver then I am! You wouldn't believe how many VHS Tapes either got ruined on me or just disappeared back in the day... to the point that I finally gave up on collecting because it was not fun any longer.

So when I decided to start collecting DVDs... I promised myself... No one would be borrowing from my collection this time!  So now I just tell them all... Oh Well!  :tease:

Actually, I'm another one who doesn't mind loaning out my stuff. I'm just cool like that. But they all know that the slightest degradation on the disc and/or packaging, means they have to buy a new one, and won't get to borrow anything ever again. That tends to make them take it seriously ;)

I've never really had a VHS collection (I'm too young for it). But VHS are much more sensitive. Even if you handle them with care your VHS player can shred them without mercy or hesitation.

DVDs on the other hand are seldom threatened by the player itself - at least I haven't yet heard of a player that eats DVDs. And that people handle my stuff with care: I made that perfectly clear.

I did actually have 1 DVD player to eat one of my DVDs... it was one of those 5 disc changers.... I had to literally take the player apart to get the disc out. Needless to say I was pissed! I had to replace the DVD too... because it got all scratched up from going off track deeper into the player.

I loan my dvd's too, I love to own those movies but it's only a piece of plastic, nothing that can't be replaced.  OOP's are of course an exception to that, don't even think of taking them out of the case or else:

Again, addicted2dvd is the one for me to blame!

Yesterday I ordered this because of him!
