Here's another that can be interesting, but it's costly.

I have my doubts about can-am.  It seems to be all metal, I'm afraid it's gonna look like cheap filing cabinets that we buy for offices.

Yes, but some people might like the look anyway ;)

Touti

It's not really the look I'm concerned with, it's the noice.  I wonder if vibrations in a home theatre room would make them noisy because of all the metal.

RossRoy

Yeah, you do have a point. Don't know.

Touti

I'd really like a big one with glass doors in my living room.

The one I like is this one

But I'm not sure I want to pay that price for just a few shelves.. But hey, I just realized. The Canadian dollar is high at the moment.. Hmmm might make me reconsider

These are nice! I have one at home that looks almost exactly as this one, but it's way larger, holds 2,000 DVDs and is built in actual maple wood. I think it was about $120 USD. These BatteryGuys are nuts with these prices, I'd say; I had it custom made with a local carpentry company in NZ. I'll try to find out if they have a website.

Heard some nice things about http://www.mmdesign.com/.

But I also saw on the old intervocative site someone pointing to a site that makes vertical sliding cabinets 2 - 3 deep. Can't find it for the life of me now. It was pretty expensive also though.

I use Billy shelves too and they are pretty good. You just need to beware of Ikea because they keep changing the colours. I bought my first set in medium brown, which then disappeared for a year! Meaning I was right on the verge of scrapping the lot ...

Thanks touti for the websites.  I really like the wall mounts at cdrackshoppe.  Again thanks this is what I have been looking for for several months.

Touti

You're welcome my friend.  I'm glad the site was usefull to you, that's the whole idea.
