Works fine from here at my work. But there's no really anything blocked (yes, we do have a firewall, just no internet access restrictions), so it's not surprising

Touti

Anybody want to meet me there to see if it works ?

tlevel

I'm at work, so probably is a firewall issue, will try again when I get home.

Sanuye

nice chat! I can use mIRC  :yahoo:

Touti, you should register the room, though

Thinking about it, I just have to check which server would be the best one for us.

Serenity, the network to which the chat is connected now, seem to be a friendly net, with services (you can register nick and channel)

I installed Java to access the chat room today - I'm not sure if I like it yet - no smileys  >:(

DJ Doena

Yes, there are smileys, at least the usual one like ; - ) work.

Sorry for not replying sooner on this, but wanted to try several different ways. It is, at least in my case, a corporate firewall issue. Seems to work fine from home, even when using my office laptop. More or less an fyi.

I'd be nice if we could chat sometime again.

My time zone is UTC+1, thus it is 14:00 / 2:00 p.m. now and I am usuually awake until midnight.
