I'll watch A.I. later today.

Kathy... what happened to the dog stew?!?  :o Are we imprisoning pandas now?

:hysterical:

The picture of the puppies was too small and I couldn't resist the baby panda.

I thought I'd consolidate the suggestion list:

9 Songs
A Clockwork Orange
Cannibal Holocaust
Capote
Citizen Kane
The Dreamers
Good Will Hunting
Irreversible
Jacob's Ladder
Kids
The Life of David Gale
The Lover
Margaret's Museum
The Prestige
Soylent Green
Starship Troopers
United 93

Of these, I'd be interested in The Prestige and Citizen Kane as I said before, but United 93, Starship Troopers and Good Will Hunting are great ideas. Also, I've been looking for an excuse to analyse 9 Songs and The Dreamers. I promise if you start an adult discussion, I will not use any phrase like "hurhur ... boobies ..." or use the  smiley. Promise.  :-X

While I remember, Lost In Translation would be a good one. Split audiences right down the centre. And The Station Agent, but I bet many haven't seen it. Wonderful film though, so you should.

Any other ideas or preferences?

Kathy

Is anyone interested in continuing with movie analysis?

Najemikon

Always. I think you should start one. I don't know how others feel, but as we aren't running a poll at the moment, pick one you wanted and we'll dive in ...

I have seen all of the ones on our suggestion list and am open to reviewing any of them. I wouldn't want to pick something that others haven't seen. Why don't we wait a day or so and get input from others.

SailorRipley

I'm game for any of the current options, with the possible exception of Life of David Gale, Margaret's Museum, Capote or The Prestige, which I've never watched.  :)

They're all very interesting movies, you should definitely watch them, especially Margaret's Museum.

SailorRipley

Oh I definitely will. They're all on my wish list now.  ;)

Kathy

I would hate for this thread to be lost since I enjoy reading the thoughts of others.

Do we need a poll to decide on a film? Or who would like to decide on the next movie to discuss?

Touti

I don't know what happened here but we have to restart this thing.  The discussion about "Contasct" was quite interesting and we have a few new member since.

I really enjoy all the games but it would be nice to talk a bit about movies and collecting them ;).

SailorRipley

I second Eric's motion!

Najemikon

I say forget the poll. You want to start a thread about a movie, go for it. As long as you do it properly, people will naturally dive in. I get the feeling Kathy wants to, but is worried no-one is starting a poll.
