I've been a mentally sick painter and a dying writer.

SailorRipley

Ed Harris?

Sick painter - Pollock (if you consider alcoholism as sickness)
Dying writer - The Hours

Touti

Good answer !

I wasn't referring to his alcohol problem.  Pollock was paranoid and a bit schizophrenic...at least that's what I undertood from the movie.  Gonna have to watch it again this afternoon.......life sucks......not :)

.......life sucks......:)

This reminds me of my Grandpa, who had a great dry of sense humor. He was a sarcastic "an old fart" (his words) who would have been a great cartoonist/satirist. Grandpa loved a good complaint or succinct point. I got him a "Life sucks...then you die" coffee mug which became the only one he would ever use!

I like your Grandpa already!  :) I have a mug like that as well!

Alright to the game...

I used to hang around at nightclubs, getting the babes, then I was a bitter, frustrated, mediocre musician, then I got so mad and started accusing people of witchery and burning them at a monastery... when none of that helped me get any decent part, I've been cursed with playing the wise old man or the casual villain in small supporting roles.

Would it help if I say I won an Oscar for my bitter, frustrated, mediocre musician and even yet, no one will hire me?

No :weep: I know I know it but... :'( You are too smart for me. :surrender:

Sanuye

F. Murray Abraham ?
won oscar for the role of Salieri (the bitter, frustrated, mediocre musician) in Amadeus
was Bernardo Guy accusing people of witchery and burning them at a monastery in Der Name der Rose

but was Omar Suarez in Scarface that used to hang around at nightclubs? I haven't seen Scarface yet, though I own it

 :hmmmm:

I drove a bus without licence then I was an undercover FBI agent

DJ Doena

I can't remember if Keanu Reeves actually drove the Bus at one time.

It's either Speed and Point Break and therefore Keanu Reeves.

On the other hand it would be Speed and Miss Congeniality and therefore Sandra Bullock.

Over the last few years I played in practically every movie there is (at least, it feels like it)
I was good at making agreements.
