My choices:
Titles in Italic are Movies I Never Seen
- Amityville 3D
- BMX Bandits
- Christine
- A Christmas Story
- Cujo
- The Day After
- The Dead Zone
- The Devonsville Terror

- National Lampoon's Vacation
- Psycho II
- Return of the Jedi
- Sleepaway Camp
- Star 80
- Sudden Impact
- Superman III
- My Tutor
- Twilight Zone: The Movie
- WarGames

I am not going to watch anything more this evening. But with the mood I am in now... I would have to say I would want to watch Superman III... if for no other reason... I could really watch some more Ri=chard Pryor right about now. Of course between now and tomorrow my mood could change.

Title: The Dead Zone: Special Collector's Edition
Year: 1983
Director: David Cronenberg
Rating: R
Length: 104 Min.
Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1
Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, English: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo, French: Dolby Digital: Mono
Subtitles: English

Stars:
Christopher Walken
Brooke Adams
Tom Skerritt
Herbert Lom

Colleen Dewhurst

Plot:
CHRISTOPHER WALKEN (Wedding Crashers) leads an all-star cast, including TOM SKERRIT and MARTIN SHEEN, in a thriller that's ahead of it's time. School teacher Johnny Smith (Walken) had a beautiful fiancée, rewarding career and a fortunate life. Until one tragic accident changed everything. After slamming into an 18-wheeler, Johnny is plunged into a five-year coma. When he awakens, he find his true collision was with destiny — he now has the remarkable gift (or curse) of seeing into the future. From horror master STEPHEN KING and director DAVID CRONENBERG, this supernatural thriller turns an everyday guy into a reluctant hero...saving children in danger, helping the police and capturing serial killers. But Johnny's next vision may be his most terrifying yet, and gives him a once-in-a-lifetime chance to save the world... at what may be the ultimate price.

Extras:
Scene Access
Feature Trailers
Bonus Trailers
Featurettes
Closed Captioned

My Thoughts:
I haven't watched this one in a while. I must admit... I enjoy the TV series more then the movie. But that is not to take away from the movie. I did enjoy it very much. Though some of the scenes did seem just a tad slow for my taste. It is still a movie well worth the time it takes to watch it. I found I enjoyed the first half of the movie just a little more then the second half. But over-all it is one I would recommend.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

I've always thought that Temple of Doom was by far the worst of the original trilogy.

If this is the one with the two annoying lead characters (not Harrison Ford of course) this is mine also...

You sure have less unwatched stuff for this period Pete

Yeah... and I got recommendations and requests for reviews (between the 3 sites I post) for several different movies... and everyone requesting a different review.

Yeah, it's got the constantly whining Kate Capshaw and the really obnoxious little kid in it!

I am really having a hard time deciding what movie to watch next... several sounds fun or peaked my interest.

Here is what sounds like fun to me right now...

- Beverly Hills Cop
- Ghostbusters
- The Hotel New Hampshire (Never seen... but trailer looks like it could either be very good or God awful!)
- Night of the Comet
- Supergirl

So I narrowed it down a bit... but still just not sure.

I have a soft spot for Temple of Doom. Maybe because I saw it at the cinema and enjoyed it so much then. Kate Capshaw was annoying to me too, but I found Short-Round to be funny
