What Women Want, a review by addicted2dvdWhat Women Want Stars: Helen Hunt Mel Gibson Allan Alda Marisa Tomei My Thoughts: This movie is one I have watched several times over. There is just something about this movie I like. I really enjoyed the whole arrogant and ignorant lady's man getting the power to read the minds of women and finding out he didn't know women the way he thought he did. And the whole daughter storyline really added to the show nicely. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Weekend Movie Marathon: Comedy on August 21st, 2009) The Avengers, a review by addicted2dvd

My Thoughts: Yes, yes we just watched The Avengers again! This is like my 6th time watching this film since it came out. Once at the theater... twice on DVD... and now 3 times on Blu-ray. But what can I say... I love this movie! Even after all these multiple viewings I still enjoyed every second of it! This movie is almost two and a half hours long... but it sure didn't feel like it while watching it! Everything moved quickly... it is quite action packed... and it has a plenty of laughs as well. Sure there was maybe a few jokes that fell flat for me... but for the most part I think Joss Whedon did an excellent job. As did the entire cast. I was a little concerned about Mark Ruffalo taking over the part of Bruce Banner... but I liked him in the role too. The Hulk is probably my favorite character in the film. He really stole the show. I couldn't recommend this one any higher. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Weekend Movie Marathon: The Blu-ray Experience on July 6th, 2013) Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by TomVOY 3.16 Blood Fever Writer: Lisa Klink (Writer) Director: Andrew Robinson Cast: Kate Mulgrew (Captain Kathryn Janeway), Robert Beltran (Commander Chakotay), Roxann Dawson (Lieutenant B'Elanna Torres), Jennifer Lien (Kes), Robert Duncan McNeill (Lieutenant Tom Paris), Ethan Phillips (Neelix), Robert Picardo (The Doctor), Tim Russ (Lieutenant Tuvok), Garrett Wang (Ensign Harry Kim), Alexander Enberg (Ensign Vorik), Bruce Bohne (Ishan), Deborah Levin (Ensign Lang) The first episode with a big P/T focus. Vorik goes into Pon Farr and chooses B'Elanna as his mate. She refuses but is infected by the blood fever of the Pon Farr when Vorik briefly mind melded with her. Under the blood lust, B'Elanna chooses Tom as her mate which leads to some great P/T scenes. The end of the episode marks the introduction of the Borg to the Voyager series. P/T moments: There are a lot to choose from in this episode. My favorite two are the following: Rating: (From Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews on September 27th, 2009) |
