OverviewMy Impression
I've bought the second parts today so I've decided to rewatch this one to refresh my memory. I will not write a lot here since almost everyone had seen this film. First to close the debate about the running zombies once and for all : They are not zombies, they are infected peoples with a mutated rage virus. Their brain is alive and the only emotion they have is the violence. Did they died only with a bullet in the head? No, so they are human that seams pretty clear to me...

I like the confusing feeling at the beginning and for me it was confusing the first time, since I didn't know anything about this movie. Every time the movie make me jump at the same moment (even this time and I've seen this movie at least six times before) and the first time I've almost made an heart attack after I've fell from my chair (ok I exagerate a little bit, but my heart was beating really fast). We really care about the protagonists because the director give them a substance they aren't only empty shell or filler characters, even a guy at the beginning who died fast had a backstory and we feel something when he died even if he had maybe 5 minutes of screen time. I prefer the first half of the movie, the second part is more conventional (a little bit like of Day of the Dead) and I'm not crazy about the end.

Overview:
The Ghosts of Christmas Eve, is a timeless holiday story of a young runaway who has broken into an old movie palace, looking for shelter on a snow filled Christmas Eve. Closed for decades, the building is filled with countless discarded artifacts from the past. There she is discovered by the old caretaker who uses the ghosts and spirits that inhabit this long abandoned world to turn her life around. This enchanting tale featuring Ossie Davis, singer/songwriter Jewel, and Broadway superstar Michael Crawford is highlighted by the performances of Christmas favorites as well as Trans-Siberian Orchestra's own unique arrangements of holiday classics.

My Thoughts:
Beautiful music, with the video for "Christmas in Sarajevo" in the center, my only complaint is that it's so short. I really wish TSO would put together another video; I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Plot:
Some people's lives get stuck in a rut and others go through a few rough patches. Sato's life, on the other hand, seems to be going to hell in a hand basket filled with cheap takeout dinners! Between dropping out of college, never going outside and living on a diet of internet porn, Sato's slowly turning into a human fungus. But what if it's not his fault? What if it's actually a dark and sinister conspiracy on the part of the television networks? And what if all those adorable images of cute anime girls are actually part of an insidious plan of brainwashing designed to turn viewers into jobless, social recluses? Can Sato overcome the horrible plot that has been hatched by the nefarious N-H-K? Will he fight for his future, get a job and even meet girls in order to counter this evil organization? Overall I enjoyed this series, but this pilot episode is a little bit of a slow start.
