My Thoughts:
I always found this movie to be a lot of fun. Geena Davis was great in the role. And even though I don't normally care for her... I also enjoyed Winona Ryder.  While this is a movie I like to watch a lot... so I am thrilled to have this Anniversary Deluxe Edition DVD. Though I am not sure that this release deserves such an edition. I mean how can you call this a deluxe edition? The fact that they added a few episodes of the animated series is cool... and then there is the theatrical trailer but where are the extras that more people want to see? There is no Commentary? What about a Featurette or two? Blooper Reel? Nope... we don't get none of that. Talk about a missed opportunity!  Oh well at least it is a movie I really enjoy... and there is a few episodes of the animated series... which I haven't seen any of in a very long time.

Ghostbusters, a review by addicted2dvd

Ghostbusters
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis star in this supernatural comedy classic that will have you howling! When the University downsizes the para-psychology department, Doctors Venkman (Murray), Stantz (Aykroyd) and Spengler (Ramis) make the leap from scientists to Ghostbusters, investigators and exterminators of paranormal pests! The bewitching Dana Barett (Sigourney Weaver) discovers her refrigerator has become a portal into the spiritual dimension, our heroes then come face to face with an ancient evil force with plans to raise hell in Manhattan!!

My Thoughts:
After my daughter just getting the new Ghostbusters Wii Game... and playing that with her for a little while... I found myself in the mood to watch this movie again. When I grabbed this DVD the realization that this movie is 25 years old now hit me... Wow! Do I feel old now! It has been a while since I seen this (6 years now)... I actually forgot how much I enjoyed this movie! This movie is full of fun and laughs. I thought everyone did a very good job in this one. And this collector's edition DVD that I watched is loaded with great extras for hours of fun. It is a great movie and great DVD release.

Psych: The Complete Second Season, a review by addicted2dvd

Psych: The Complete Second Season (2007/United States)

Stars:Extras:
  • Audio Commentary
  • Feature Trailers
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Featurettes
  • Outtakes/Bloopers
  • Lil' Shawn and Gus webisodes

My Thoughts:
I been enjoying this show so much that I just couldn't be bothered writing a review for each disc. So I waited until I watched the complete season. And I am still completely hooked on this series. I have now watched 2 of the 4 seasons that I got for Christmas... and just can't wait to start season 3. Why am I so hooked on this series?... I really don't know... just know that I am enjoying every moment of this fun series. Favorite episode of the season? So many good episodes it really isn't easy to say... but I guess I would have to go with Shawn (and Gus) of the Dead... which happens to be the season finale. And I think they ended the season with a nice little cliffhanger. Nothing detrimental to the storyline... but something to keep your interest for the next season.
