My Thoughts:
Going by the plot for this one I will admit I was a bit concerned. But I have to say... I enjoyed every minute of it! I really enjoyed the story... and it had several laugh out loud moments for me. I was glad to see this one being Sharon and Susan grown up and getting involved with switching instead of them trying to do the same (or similar) thing with their kids this time. I also liked that they were able to get the same actress to play Sharon and Susan. I also liked that Tom Skerritt is in this movie. I have slowly become a fan of his over the last few years. It is a pleasant surprise that I liked this one almost... if not as much as the first part.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

The world looks very different through their eyes as zombies, and it seems like everyone else has gone mad. Confused, scared and convinced they're the only sane ones in a sea of infected humans, the friends struggle to set things right.

In their search for the 'truth', they may be completely unaware of their rotting un-deadness, but, they do find that life only begins at death...

Awards:
Won:
Screamfest (2007)  Audience Award - Best Film (Matthew Kohnen, Sean Kohnen)

Extras:
  • Scene Access

My Thoughts:
An interesting spin to a zombie movie. It is told from the zombie's point of view. Scenes from the normal people's point of view is in black-and-white. Scenes from the zombies' view is in color. The zombies' at first don't notice that something wrong with them, but they think it is the rest of the world which are affected by something.
Not in the same league as "Shaun of the Dead" but an enjoyable movie. Even though the "zombie acting" could have been better.

"Stargate SG-1" Marathon, a review by DJ Doena

Disc 6

Crystal Skull
Synopsis: SG-1 discovers a crystal skull within a huge pyramid. Such a skull has been found on Earth by Nick Ballard - Daniel's grandfather. But then the skull emits an energy field and Daniel is shifted out of phase. Nobody can see or hear him anymore. SG-1 needs the help of Nick to find out what happened to Daniel.

My Opinion: One can really imagine that Nick could be Daniel's grandpa. I think they did a great job with the conversations between Daniel and Nick, before Daniel realizes that Nick can actually see and hear him. They work as monologue as well as as dialogue. (Loads of "as" here!)

Nemesis
Synopsis: Thor's ship, the Beliskner, has been taken over by the Replicators. The Replicators are the enemies from Thor's galaxy, of whom he has reported earlier. They are a mechanical lifeform which primary objective is to reproduce. For that they literally eat Thor's ship. The Replicators have brought the Beliskner to Earth and they plan to land. SG-1 has to prevent that.

My Opinion: Spectacular crash. If humans are good at one thing, then it is to destroy things. :D I liked it a lot.

The Season - My Opinion: The storyline that began it all has come to an end: Sha're is dead and Skaara is free again. Only Apophis is still terrorizing the neighbourhood. There have been weaker episodes again, but as I said before I don't believe in a perfect season. But the season had a lot of interesting episodes, especially some that started new storylines.

PS: I'll take a short break now until after Easter.
