Wonder Woman, a review by addicted2dvd

Wonder Woman
On the mystical island of Themyscira, a proud, strong warrior race of Amazon women lives in a utopian civilization shielded from the corrupt world of man. But a betrayal within the Amazon sisterhood leads to the escape of Ares, the God of War, and Amazon Princess Diana must capture him before he unleashes global chaos and destruction. With the aid of cocky fighter pilot Steve TrevorWorld's Greatest Super Heroine.

My Thoughts:
I been wanting to see this animated movie since I first saw the trailer. And it didn't disappoint. I enjoyed it very much. This movie is definitely heavier on the violence as well as some suggestive dialog. So it is not one for the kiddies... but I don't think it is to bad... I would say the teens on up would enjoy this movie. One thing I did find a little on the strange side is that you don't hear the name Wonder Woman till the end of the movie. But that is such a minor thing it doesn't matter in the least. I am hoping we see a sequel to this one before too long. As well as the long awaited live-action movie. The one problem I did have with this movie... and is true about all the animated super hero movies I have seen... is the short run time. This movie is only 73min. long.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Nutcracker : An American Nightmare, a review by Jimmy

Title : Nutcracker : An American Nightmare (2003)

Overview
A prominent psychologist uses advanced brainwave technology that allows him to see into the minds of his patients - but it backfires on him, and he sees his own repressed memory, killing his father, and placing the blame on his brother, who was confined to a mental institution.

My Impression
This one could have been so much better. The problem is that the story doesn't move very fast and you are bore many times since nothing really interesting happen. But David Hess seems to have a lot of fun with a role different than what he is usually typecast in.

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

ALF
ALF, the impetuous alien who plummeted from outer space into the Tanner family garage back in '86 is now crash-landing on DVD! Earth has just not been the same without this cosmic superstar and his wisecracking antics!

Catch ALF in all 25 out-of-this-world episodes from the complete first season of his award-winning primetime TV hit.

A.L.F.
Gordon Shumway, last known survivor from the planet Melmac, crash-lands his spaceship into the Tanner family's suburban garage. Willie dubs him "ALF", short for Alien Life Form. After convincing a military officer that they are not harboring a space creature, the Tanners decide to take ALF in as a member of the family.

My Thoughts:
An entertaining sitcom... though not one of my favorites. I think it lost a little something for me over the years as I remember enjoying it more at the time it originally aired. The DVD release while looks good at first glance has is a let down when you realize that the episodes on this release is the syndicated versions instead of the full original episodes.
