I did not buy this release until now, because of what I have read about it, it didn't seem that I would enjoy it. But then I saw the trailer for it on the Wonder Woman Blu-ray I watched recently, and I thought it could be something I will enjoy. But sadly, it didn't quite work out this way. The animation quality varies, but all stories were rather boring. Batman done by anime directors may sound fitting, but I think they didn't quite catch the character. Though I never was a big fan of animated Batman.
This Blu-ray contains four episodes of the 90's Batman animation series. I will watch those next. The first one I already watched. The story there is similar to the one in the first segment of the main feature. Of what I have read so far, one of the others is about Freeze. Another about Batgirl, where Commissionar Gordon, her father, finds out about her nightly activities (I am curious about that episode).

Ace ventura - Pet Detective



Ace Ventura - Pet Detective is the best there is. In fact he's the only one there is. He finds himself on the case of a lifetime when he is asked to find a kidnapped dolphin, the mascot of the Miami Dolphins Football Team.

Jim Carrey - not funny.
He is amusing for about 20 seconds, a bit like someone doing a loud fart. But in the same way, if they keep farting, it becomes tiresome and unpleasant, similar to Jim Carrey.
So Courteney Cox is going to go to bed with a plonker like him in front of a barnyard of animals - yeah right!
Ridiculous story and unless you were an 8 year old boy I am not sure how you could enjoy this?? (star trek impersonations were good though)

Plot:
A radiation leak wipes out the crew of the mining ship Red Dwarf leaving one survivor - chicken soup machine repairman Dave Lister. After three million years in suspended animation, Lister emerges to find he is the last human being in the universe. But he is not alone.

A great beginning to a great show. My favorite scenes are the one where the first introduced the hologram concept by having a party for the recently deceased crew member who has been resurrected as hologram. And of course the famous "everybody is dead, Dave" scene.
