My Thoughts:
This is an old favorite of mine when it comes to ghost movies. At the end of this movie there is a big paragraph or so talking about how this movie is based on a true story. I don't know if the events this movie was based on was debunked or not. I would say that this movie held up well for me.... though I did find it a little slower (and longer) then what I remembered. But over all enjoyed it quite a bit.... worth watching.

Plot:
The supernatural terror returns and unspeakable evil sets its sight on new prey when a group of orphaned children are forced to move into the abandoned Eel Marsh House with their caretakers, Eve and Jean. As the children begin to mysteriously disappear, Eve makes a shocking discovery...it may not be a coincidence that she has come to reside in a place inhabited by the murderous Woman in Black.

No, definitely not as good as the first. But I really don't feel it deserves the hate that it seems to get. I feel that it is a decent sequel. I enjoyed the story. I found it worth the hour and a half I put into it to watch it.

Alien Nation



What's the show about?
250,000 aliens from the planet Tencton are stranded on Earth. The aliens were bred to be slaves. They are stronger and often more intelligent than Humans and they have to adapt to the live among the population of Los Angeles. Five years have gone since their arrival on Earth. The Human cop Matthew Sikes and the Newcomer cop George Francisco solve cases both in the human and the newcomer community.

What happened before?
The TV show is loosely based on the movie, but the story of the movie is not connected to that of the show. In fact, parts story of of the movie are re-written for the pilot.

"Alien Nation"
The first "Newcomer", Sam 'George' Francisco, has become a detective and he gets assigned to a Human. Detective Matthew Sikes on the other hand has lost his partner, who was shot by a Newcomer. Together they have to solve a case of mysterious deaths that are somehow connected to Matt's old partner...

My Opinion
Can't wait to get my fingers on the five TV movies they've made afterwards. It was a really good show even when it lasted only one season.
